Our operations strictly adhere to ISO standards, reflecting our dedication to maintaining the highest levels of regulatory compliance in every aspect of our work.

Medicinal cannabis in the North Macedonia

In North Macedonia, the cannabis program is under the direct oversight of the Ministry of Health. The Ministry of Health oversees various aspects of the supply chain, such as cultivation, testing, and packaging and distribution, assigning different responsibilities to various companies. ACPV has been entrusted with the cultivation aspect, ensuring compliance with the regulations set forth by the Ministry of Health.

Medicinal cannabis Quality

To ensure the quality of the medicinal cannabis supplied, a certified laboratory, under contract, meticulously examines each batch for cannabinoid levels, moisture content, and potential contaminants such as heavy metals, pesticides, mold, and microbes.

The United Nations conventions

Cannabis falls under the global drug control framework established by the United Nations through three key treaties: the 1961 Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs (amended by the 1972 Protocol), the 1971 Convention on Psychotropic Substances, and the 1988 Convention Against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances. These international agreements establish measures for the control of substances, categorizing them based on therapeutic benefits and potential for abuse, with the aim of ensuring their availability for medical and scientific purposes.
